He was an amazing artist, a designer.
I was still young when he passed away, and I never really knew him well.
He was my mother’s closest friend.

And yet, he was the only person I ever met who seemed to embody grace itself.
His voice remains etched within me, forever.

Perhaps I am only fantasizing about someone I hardly knew, and yet I still hold the feeling that he would have known the words I needed to hear.
